Lisa Burns (Executive Director) is the founder and executive director of Far Corners and an experienced music educator, teaching choir, musical theatre and piano. Lisa first came to Monteverde in 2005 as an intern at the Cloud Forest School and has spent significant time in the area ever since.

Kelly Marin (Program Associate & Drama Instructor) grew up in Monteverde and graduated from the Cloud Forest School. She
performed in eight musicals with Far Corners from 2011 to 2019 and worked as the administrative coordinator for Far Corners in 2019. |
Becca McMurdie (Vacation Camp Instructor) has been an educator for 15 years. She is currently the principal of an elementary school in New York City. She is on a sabbatical leave for two months to live in Costa Rica and volunteer with Far Corners and The Cloud Forest School.

Francisco Marques (Samba Drumming) is the music teacher at the Cloud Forest School. He is a multi-instrumentalist and singer who has been studying, performing and teaching Brazilian music for 20 years.
