Third Maputo Interschool Arts Workshop​

First organized by FCCMT founder Lisa Burns, the annual Interschool Arts festival is quickly becoming a showcase event at the American International School of Mozambique (AISM).  Highlights of the 3rd event include:

• Participation by approximately 240 students and adults
  
• Inclusion of a highly diverse group of 12 different Maputo schools
• Workshops including dance groups, choir, band, photography and digital film making, theatre, visual arts and capoeira
• A teachers' workshop on integrating drama into the classroom
• The highest participation yet by faculty and high school student volunteers working together to run the event

FCCMT congratulates AISM for continuing this exciting tradition, bridging cultural, linguistic and socioeconomic boundaries to bring young people together sharing in the arts!
